Following the success of the Solitaire 710 hotel locking system, Unican Security Systems of Canada says it has developed a new, mechanically simpler and more economical version to suit all budgets and all kinds of hotels and guesthouses.
The Solitaire 710-II also has fewer moving parts than the 710 and has high weather resistance, with the clutch built into the mortice and the four standard AA batteries housed in a slim compartment at the top of the lock. The system also features 400-event audit allowing management to check the use of cards at any one lock, and is expandable up to 15,000 rooms, according to a company spokesman.
''The 710-II is a complete system with a front desk unit enabling programming and audit, point of sale and property management interface capability and the use of keycards. The swipe reader itself is internally sealed to reduce the risk of dirt and moisture compromising efficient operation and the lock uses dual sensory feedback also detecting the sound of the keycard to operate the lock,'' he explains.
Most importantly, the new locking system is very competitively priced, he adds. ''The new Solitaire 710-II access control system is an economical alternative for all kinds of hotels and guesthouses,'' the spokesman says.
