BL-Pegson of the UK has extended its line of tracked crushers with the launch of a new unit called the Maxtrak 1000.
"The Maxtrak 1000 is based around the company's famous Automax cone crusher and incorporates many features found on its well-proven wheeled mobile plant," says Andrew Dakin of BL-Pegson. "A unique system, with feed hopper and level probes, ensures continuous choke feeding of the cone crusher, thereby improving cubical shape and increasing fines production for 'road-base' use."
He continues: "In many applications, the Maxtrak 1000 is able to take an 'all-in' feed from the jaw crusher, thereby eliminating the need for pre-screening which would reduce the cubicity of the finished product.
"The taper roller bearing design of the Automax, with fully hydraulic setting, tramp release and unblocking system, enables the excellent production characteristics and ease of operation. The Maxtrak 1000 also features a metal detection system to reduce the chance of tramp metal - including high alloy steels - from entering the crushing chamber.
"Dust suppression sprays are also included as standard to reduce environmental emissions. A Caterpillar engine provides the power through an efficient HFO clutch, ensuring that all the power from the engine is utilised to crush the rock."
The Maxtrak 1000 is available with a choice of three liners and two 'eccentric' throws, suitable for secondary or tertiary applications, depending on the material feed sizes and products required and with capacities up to 260 tonnes per hour. It can also be used as a primary crusher where the feed material is of a size to readily enter the crushing chamber - for example, on gravel crushing applications.
BL-Pegson's other tracked crushers are the 900 x 600 Metrotrak, the 1100 x 650 Premiertrak, the 1100 x 800 Premiertrak and the 428 Trakpactor.
