Al Sahel Contracting a veteran UAE operator

Al Sahel Contracting Company, part of the Dubai-based Khalifa Juma Al Naboodah Group of Companies, has been operating in the UAE for more than 25 years.
The company was certified to ISO 9002 by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance in 1999.
"We were among the first construction companies in the UAE to be ISO-certified," claims a company spokesman.
Al Sahel has more than 150 projects to its credit.
Some of the projects executed by the company include the Airport Hotel expansion project, the Bin Sugat Center shopping mall in Rashidiya, 82 villas in Jumeirah and a shopping centre on Deira Souq, and The Gardens, a 33-building project in Jebel Ali.
Al Sahel says it has established a close business relationship with Remco since it commenced operations in the UAE. "We have jointly worked on many projects with Remco, such as the Airport Hotel project" he says.
Al Sahel's premises, located at Rashidiya Industrial Zone, comprises its head office, carpentry workshop, fabrication workshop, central stores and vehicle maintenance workshop.
The company has around 100 well-qualified office staff and a workforce of around 1,000 skilled and unskilled labourers, according to the spokesman.
