Technical Trading Company (TTC), the sole distributor of Saudi Industrial Paint Company Limited (Sipco), has introduced a range of Sipco speciality decorative coatings in Oman.

The range includes Stoneshield, a durable and elegant stone effect, exterior wall coating made of granules of granite to give natural beauty and is available in 16 different colours.

It is resistant to abrasion, mechanical shocks, alkalinity, atmospheric pollutants and is able to withstand the harsh climatic conditions of the Middle East, says the company.

The other products include Marblesque, Sipco Fractalis designer finishes and Sipco Colourdek among others.

Marblesque gives the natural beauty of marble with its intricate patterns and colourways, or the classic finish of Italian stucco, reproduced in coating.

It has a waterborne finish that is environmentally friendly and does not support the spread of fire.

The Sipco Fractalis offers fast drying, hand-applied designer multi-colour finish.

It provides a choice of colour limited only to the imagination and creativity of the designer/applicator, says the company.

Sipco Colourdek epoxy floor coatings are solvent free, high-performance, high-build self-levelling coatings.

They form a continuous, tough, smooth, seamless and easy-to-clean surface that has outstanding resistance to abrasion, impact and spillage of solvent, oil, petrol, jet fuel, diesel and diluted acidic and alkaline solutions and is suitable for application on concrete, cement, stone and steel surfaces.

The TTC and Sipco recently held an applicatortraining workshop in Muscat to introduce them to the correct techniques and procedures. Each applicator was given a certificate on completion of the course.
