The Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry is planning to construct a new building in Doha.

The building on Grand Hamad Street is expected to be ready by the end of 2004 and cost between QR20 million ($5.4 million) and QR25 million. It will have seven storeys and a conference hall with a capacity of 600. Work on the project is likely to start in February next year.
