A three-in-one international exhibition was held in Dubai, UAE, last month. The three-day event comprised Arabian Stone Fair 2003, Kitchen and Bathrooms 2003 and Gulf Light 2003.
This year's shows at the Dubai International Trade Centre attracted 120 exhibitors from 20 countries, including four official and specialised groups from Germany, Italy and China, in addition to individual companies from Lebanon, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Egypt, Brazil, India and France. A group of agents and producers from the UAE also displayed their products at the expo.
The Arabian Stone Fair 2003 was sponsored by the Italian Marmomacchine Association in cooperation with Italian Fairsystems International Exhibition Service and Channel Exhibition. It showcased natural stones, marble and granite, in addition to cutting, engraving equipment and other accessories that are used for making the different kinds of stones used for architectural and decoration purposes.
A number of technical seminars were held alongside the exhibition. They discussed topics such as advanced stone-working technology, natural stone applications and maintenance in building and architecture.
Kitchen and Bathrooms 2003 showcased a wide array of kitchen and bathroom ware, fittings and accessories.
Gulf Light 2003 was dedicated to lighting equipment and products for home and public and industrial use including a wide range of home lighting for internal and external uses, as well as in offices, hotels, factories and other establishments.
