Leaders' state-of-the-art offices and factory are located in Sharjah Industrial Area. The factory includes modern accommodation facilities, a double-glazing insulation line, excellent fabrication facilities with advanced aluminium and stainless steel equipment and machinery.

"The management team is professional, with vast experience in the architectural aluminium industry. Our fabrication and site installation staff are well-trained multinationals, most of whom have years of experience in fabrication, production and installation," says Abdelhamid.

He continues: "We can provide finance, experienced staff engineering and guarantees for any size of project. Our technical personnel evaluate each project, starting with the design, giving ample consideration to technical and time aspects prior to production. Preparation of sample submittals, along with shopdrawings and structural evaluation are studied and submitted for approval before production commences. This pre-production phase is carried out to ensure our work meets the specified or proposed materials and our quality procedures.

"The site installation is done by skilled workers and is carefully monitored by our qualified site engineers or foreman for the duration of the project.

"We are the only certified fabricator and installer of ALU-K systems for aluminium doors/windows and curtain walls in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. This system is a high-quality proven system and is extruded under licence from ALU-K engineering by Gulf Extrusions in Dubai. All ALU-K systems have undergone testing procedures in overseas laboratories. ALU-K supports all our projects with technical and engineering back-up."

The company also fabricates and installs Gulf Extrusion sections on projects where its system is specified.

The company is also a certified installer for Pilkington Planar structural wall glass systems, and deploys trained personnel to install them.

Leader also represents Winsa, one of the largest manufacturers of uPVC windows and doors. These windows and doors are economical in cost and particularly suited for coastal areas as they offer high insulation levels under very humid climatic conditions. Winsa offers sliding, tilt and turn, tilt and slide as well as normal hinged windows and doors in uPVC.

It also offers curved windows and doors with plastic cills and reveal covers. These uPVC windows and doors are finished in standard white plastic or with timber or coloured Renolit finish on the inside only. Winsa windows and doors have approved quality certificates from RAL, GOST-R and ISO 9001, he says.

Other companies represented by Leaders include: Lisus Engineering, Singapore - for spaceframes, large complicated skylights or stainless steel tension or cable glass structures; Vistawall architectural products; Xxentria Industries for aluminium composite panels; and Pilsa for uPVC exrusions and systems of windows and doors.

Some of the prestigious projects executed by Leaders include Novotel and Ibis hotels (Dubai World Trade Centre), Royal Mirage Resort Phase II, Airport Hotel, Al Sondos Meridien Suites, Nad Al Shiba grandstand, 50 buildings at the Gardens (all in Dubai), Sharjah Rotana Hotel, Sahara Mall, Sharjah Mega Mall, Fujairah Tower - aluminium composite cladding, Le Meridien Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah - aluminium composite cladding; and Carrefour in Muscat, Oman.

Earlier this year, the company has established Leaders Qatar in Doha because of the high demand for its products in that country.

Leaders is also exporting and installing its products in Yemen (five star hotels) and in Kuwait (Diabetic Centre), in addition to Sudan, Algeria and many other countries.
