Optima Unilock Middle East (Oume) has launched a new system called Futurewall, which it describes as the next generation in partitioning.
''This demountable and relocatable partitioning system has outstanding acoustics and its simple design ensures it is easy to install, owing to a minimum number of components,'' says a spokesman for the Dubai-based firm. ''Flush glazed panels, solid panels or doors are fully interchangeable while an extensive range of accessories and fittings are available to create a working wall,'' he adds.
Oume, the regional office of Optima UK, which was set up in June this year, says it has been generating a great deal of interest from local contractors, specifiers and architects, many of whom are already familiar with the company's extensive range of demountable and relocatable office partitioning systems. With construction activities on the rise in Dubai, Oume is confident of improving its market share significantly.
At the beginning of this year Oume's UK parent acquired Unilock, creating one of the UK's largest architectural partitioning companies. ''Optima and Unilock are two of the best-known names in architectural partitioning, and include the Futurewall, Mistral, Signature and Elegance Vetro range of partitioning systems,'' the spokesman says.
Oume now offers a full range of glass, steel and composite partitioning products for all types of projects, from prestigious corporate headquarters to modest office premises.
