True mobility and high productivity are the key features of the E-7, a new screening and stockpiling system, says its manufacturer Extec Screens and Crusher.
The E-7 – which will be unveiled at Hillhead 2005, an exhibition of quarrying, construction and recycling equipment to be staged this month in Manchester, England – is a heavy-duty track-mounted self-propelled open flow screening and stockpiling system that has been purpose-built for the recycling and quarrying markets, says the company.
“The E-7 has been created over the last 18 months through Extec’s acclaimed R&D programme,” explains a spokesman for the company. “Based on in-depth customer and market analysis, the E-7 has been developed in order to deal with customers requirements, which traditional screening solutions are unable to adequately cater for.
These include:
• Screening heavy over-burden at the quarry face;
• Pre-screening/scalping prior to being fed into a crusher;
• Recycling construction and landfill waste;
• Separation of “sticky” aggregate.
Other machines being shown this year will include:
• The C-Series tracked jaw crusher, the Impactor (a tracked impact crusher) and the S-series screening system.
• The C-12 and C10 tracked jaw crushers have been designed and tested using the latest computer-aided design technology with initial testing being undertaken on a large selection of various types of material in the US and Europe, says the spokesman.
“The advanced C-Series encompass such revolutionary features as a vibratory feeder with automatic control to regulate the feed into the crusher; a hydraulic adjustment system to regulate the product size to be crushed; reverse crushing action to assist in clearing blockages; and a high crushing speed – all of which give high production, cleaner products and more profit,” he points out.
The spokesman describes the S-series three-way split screening system as the ultimate mobile screening machines designed for the truly serious contractor or quarry operation. The series includes the S-5, S-4 and the S-3.
“The newest member the S-3, is a single screen-box screener but utilises the same state-of-the-art design technology to construct a screener that is perfect for the quarry or recycling operation where durability, production and mobility are paramount,” he concludes.
