India’s top engineering and construction conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T)  last month clinched two key solar power projects in Saudi Arabia, one at Sudair, located approximately 150 km north of the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and the other at the Red Sea port city of  Jeddah.






Spanish infrastructure major Acciona says it has completed a major milestone in the construction of Dubai’s Jebel Ali Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) desalination plant, which is now producing at 100 per cent of capacity.

Dubai-based Alec Engineering and Contracting says it has joined forces with Butec, a design-build industrial contractor, to set up a new venture that will target the region’s utilities, industrial and environmental sector-based projects.






Alstom wins five-year Dubai airport contract extension Global technology major Alstom says it has signed a five-year extension to its contract with Dubai Airports to provide comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the Innovia APM 300 automated people mover (APM) system at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
