A 45-km causeway between Qatar and Bahrain is a step closer to reality with the completion of a feasibility study commissioned by both governments. Qatar has awarded two major road projects as part of a comprehensive and modern road network plan. The projects were awarded to Joannou & Paraskevaides Qatar (J & P), an international building and civil engineering company with headquarters in Cyprus.
The Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry is planning to construct a new building in Doha.
