Egypt’s Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and the chairperson of the Suez Canal Authority and the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), General Mohab Mamish, have agreed to undertake a tour to Singapore and Vietnam to promote the region’s economic projects this month, said a report.

Mamish presented the investment plan of DP World to Nasr on Monday in order to develop its investment in the SCZone through the establishment of integrated areas covering all services and residential and recreational areas, added the Daily News Egypt report.

In addition to that, the two sides discussed arrangements for a joint tour involving Vietnam and Singapore in August to attract investors.

Nasr stressed that the new investment law includes a number of incentives and guarantees for investors wishing to invest in the SCZone, added the report.
