Top officials visit SAMI stand at Dubai Airshow
DUBAI, November 20, 2019
A number of high-ranking officials visited the stand of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) during its inaugural participation at the Dubai Airshow 2019, being held in Dubai, UAE.
The event is the biggest aerospace event in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, which opened on November 17 and will run until November 21, at the Dubai World Central.
SAMI’s CEO Dr Andreas Schwer, along with other senior executives, received HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, chairman of the Saudi Space Agency, Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), Abdulhadi Almansouri, president of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Major General Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Ghamdi, deputy commander of the Joint Forces, and Brig. Gen. Ayed al-Jeaid, chairman of flynas, said a statement from the company.
The dignitaries conducted a tour of SAMI’s latest military and defence technologies and systems on display at the Dubai Airshow and were briefed on the products and services being showcased by SAMI’s companies, namely SAMI Navantia Naval Industries (SAMINavantia), Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), and Aircraft Accessories and Components Company (AACC), which are participating in the show under SAMI’s umbrella, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
