Saudi oil exports value for December surges 11pc to $23bn

RIYADH, February 21, 2023

The value of Saudi Arabia's oil exports in December 2022 surged by 11% to hit SR86 billion ($23 billion), when compared to SR77 billion ($20.5 billion) the year before, according to General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT). 
 
However, the value of non-oil exports (including re-exports) for the period fell 23.3% to SR23 billion from the previous year's figures of SR30 billion, it stated.
 
As per GASTAT report, the value of exports of goods in the kingdom for December last year amounted to SR108 billion, thus registering an increase of SR1 billion from the previous year's figures of SR107 billion.
 
Saudi Arabia had imported SR62 billion worth of goods in December, up 17%, compared to SR53 billion the yera before, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
