Yas Island’s theme parks took home six awards at the Middle East North Africa Leisure and Attraction Council (Menalac) awards, held in Dubai on March 26.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, the world’s first ever Warner Bros. branded indoor theme park won several accolades, alongside Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the first Ferrari branded theme park in the world, and Yas Waterworld the world’s best waterpark, which were also commended at this year’s awards gala.

The theme parks were nominated and shortlisted for several prestigious awards and received top recognition in their respective categories, with Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi named this year’s Best Theme Park.

The three attractions took home numerous awards with Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s Winterfest activation winning the Most Innovative New Product/Indoor Installation, while Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi was also awarded for Best Day Out, Best New Leisure/Entertainment Concept and Best Sales and Marketing Campaign. To top it off, Yas Waterworld was also recognised as Best Water Park.

Established in 2016 under the support of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Dubai Association Centre, Menalac is a not-for-profit Trade Council, which represents the Leisure and Attractions companies in the Middle East and North Africa. - TradeArabia News Service
