His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ratified the air services agreement that had been signed between Bahrain and Turkmenistan in February this year and promulgated Law 11/2023, reported BNA.

 

This comes following its approval by Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.

 

The agreement, attached to this law, was signed in Manama by Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Bahrain’s Transportation and Telecommunications Minister, and Mammethan Chakyev, Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers in Turkmenistan during the official visit of its President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in February this year.

 

The Prime Minister and ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of the law, which takes effect the day following its publication in the Official Gazette, it added.
