Travel Counsellors, the largest and fastest-growing technology platform for travel entrepreneurs, recently hosted their annual 2024 UAE Conference at Al Habtoor Palace, Dubai. 

 

The event, which was held under the theme 'Sustainable Futures' saw Travel Counsellors share the vision for its continued growth and success. The platform currently supports over 90 travel professionals in the UAE, along with a focus on responsible and sustainable tourism. 

 

Personal branding expert Kelly Lundberg took the stage for her workshop, Sustainable Success: Building a Personal Brand That Lasts, sharing many practical tips. 

 

She was followed by Carol Glynn of Conscious Finance Coaching who provided the travel entrepreneurs with insight and motivation into using their business success to ensure a sustainable financial future. 

 

The afternoon began with a supplier trade show. More than 40 supplier partners took part including this year’s headline partners Atmosphere Core, Adaaran Resorts, Heritance Aarah and the hosting venue Al Habtoor Palace, Dubai. 

 

General Manager Holly McCann was joined on stage by Dubai-based CEO and founder of TishTash Communications, Natasha Hatherall who shared her entrepreneurial journey and her advice for sustained business success. 

 

The last of the days external speakers, Conservation Scientist, Jennifer Croes engaged in a thought provoking conversation regarding responsible tourism and the value of the initiatives already in place through Travel Counselors, including having green leaf properties tagged in Phenix the company’s proprietary technology platform.

 

The conference concluded with a gala dinner and awards evening hosted by Virgin Radio star Kris Fade, Travel Counsellors UAE General Manager Holly McCann and from the company’s UK headquarters Jim Eastwood, Global Sales Director.

Established in 2012 as a joint venture with dnata, Travel Counsellors UAE now supports 96 travel entrepreneurs through their platform. The company opened its second branch in Abu Dhabi in 2023 and continue to attract highly motivated, travel professionals across the UAE.
