  • $527m Bahrain Marina on track; achieves key safety milestone


    Bahrain Marina Development Company has announced that steady progress is being made on its BD200 million ($527 million) premium project, Bahrain Marina, coming up in the capital Manama with nearly 18% of the construction work already completed.

  • Korean builder GS E&C lands $1.7bn Oman desal plant contract


    Korean builder GS Engineering & Construction has announced that one of its key units has secured a 2.4 trillion-won ($1.7 billion) contract from Oman government to build a desalination facility in the sultanate. The entire work will be completed by 2027.

  • Drake & Scull International eyes $789.4m capital hike


    Dubai contractor Drake & Scull said it has closed the subscription for new capital, with proceeds exceeding AED450 million ($122 million). The company aims to raise AED2.9 billion ($789.4 million) new capital through distribution of 2.8 billion shares.
