Work on a 20-storey residential building in Bahrain is on track for completion this year, despite a shortge in building materials, according to the project’s contractor.
The Gardenia Tower, located in Juffair, is an exclusive residential tower, offering high quality value with the benefits of a waterfront community.
“The project is testimony to the fact that projects in Bahrain are still increasing and are hardly affected by the global financial crisis,” says Yusuf Alqaed, manager of Ahmed Alqaed Construction, the contractor on the project. “While the construction industry in Bahrain struggled with inflation and shortage issues in 2008, causing the delay and extension of the handover dates of many projects, the Gardenia Tower, on the contrary, met its deadlines and is now in its final construction stage, with the finishing of the tower expected to be completed by September this year.”
Gardenia Tower comprises 48 spacious flats with three different types – A, B and C – each offering a lavish living room, a dining hall, spacious bedrooms with bathrooms, balconies, and a large kitchen.
In addition, the tower has a spacious garden rooftop, which includes a multipurpose hall; a state-of-the-art health club with views of the sea; and a large-sized swimming pool.
The area around the pool is specially coated so the ground stays cool even under the summer sun, to enable people to walk barefoot.
