Simplex Infrastructures has won a main contract worth Dh168 million ($45.65 million) to build Wadi Tower, one of a series of high-rise buildings within City of Arabia, with work set to begin immediately.
The contract was awarded by The Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group, owner of City of Arabia, the $5 billion retail, residential, commercial and entertainment destination within Dubailand.
Ani Ray, country director of Simplex Infrastructures, said site preparation began mid-December and a team has now begun excavation work. “With the piling complete the next step is to commence pile cutting,” he said.
Wadi Tower will boast 30 storeys of luxurious apartments with a state-of-the-art health club, swimming pool, high-speed elevators and deluxe fittings. The tower will form part of a dramatic skyline, with access via several junctions to and from the Emirates Road as well as City of Arabia’s own monorail with connections to all areas of the city.
