CITYSCAPE Abu Dhabi, the international real estate and investment development event, attracted more than 27,000 visitors despite the market downturn.
The show, which ran from April 19 to 22, covered more than 40,000 sq m of exhibition space with more than 300 companies from over 30 countries participating. Running alongside the event was the Real Estate Finance and Investment Conference, featuring more than 100 speakers from leading global finance, investment and real estate companies.
Rohan Marwaha, managing director of Cityscape, says: “Now, as we look ahead to Cityscape Asia (Singapore May 19 to 21) and Cityscape Saudi Arabia (Jeddah June 14 to 16) as well as all other events in the Cityscape portfolio, it is clear that Abu Dhabi has set a significant benchmark for 2009.”
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister of the UAE, praised Cityscape as an example of the success and continuing economic strength of the UAE.
