THE fourth FM Expo, the Middle East’s leading facilities management (FM) event, has attracted nearly double the number of international exhibitors compared to prior events.
UK companies are among those international exhibitors out in greater force at this year’s event. Not only are there 40 per cent additional companies involved, but they have taken more than double the stand space.
FM Expo is taking place at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre from May 24 to 26 while the Property and FM conference and workshop runs from May 24 to 28 at the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel, Dubai. The conference has attracted an enviable line-up of international speakers including Stan Mitchell, CEO, Key Facilities Management International, UK and founding chairman Global Facility Management Association, Michael Johnson, managing director Mass UK, and Jim Whittaker, president, Facility Engineering Associates, US.
“The FM market is expected to grow to be worth an estimated $704 billion over the next 25 years. FM Expo can only keep on growing and become an even more valuable networking event and a source for internationally-recognised solutions,” said Louisa Theobald, group exhibitions director of the organiser Steamline Marketing Group.
To enable the FM industry to play an effective role going forward, the FM conference looks at sustainability, human resources, and cost issues and highlights the need for FM to add value in a cost-cutting climate, risk assessment and management, best procurement practices and the growing need to be able to offer integrated FM.
