Europe calls on office

THE Office Exhibition 2010 in Dubai will host European office sector companies aiming to capitalise on the huge opportunities existing in the UAE.
With the office sector in the UAE continuing to grow, the region has become an attractive destination for companies to relocate to, with many leading international companies transferring their headquarters to the region as a result of its tax-free environment and advantageous free-zones.
The recent drop in high office rent in the UAE, prompted by the global slowdown, has also added to its charm. The UAE is predicted to have the highest growth in office space in the region with a further 6.7 million sq m of new office space planned next year alone.
The Office Exhibition, now in its ninth year, is a premium showcase for the high-end products, technology and services that combine to create outstanding work environments. The only event of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region, the expo will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 9 to 11 February 2010 and will feature more than 350 companies covering an area of approximately 25,000 sq m.
