ARABIAN Construction Week will present opportunities for companies to launch their products and services that are new to the UAE and the Middle East.
Syntheon will present Elemix, the energy-efficient concrete and wall systems that cut construction costs. “Concrete that resists cracking and thermally-resistant wall systems deliver more than just environmental benefits,” says Tony Torres, president.
Syntheon will also use the Arabian Construction Week platform to launch the accel-E steel thermally-efficient panel (STEP) wall system in the Middle East.
Boddingtons, a leading manufacturer and converter of specialised thermoplastic films, meshes and nets, will unveil its extensive range of landscaping and civil engineering products. “We will introduce our flagship BodPave85 permeable paver, a new-generation grass or gravel paving solution, which offers a 400-tonne load-bearing capacity, ideal for sustainable car parking and manufactured from 100 per cent recycled material,” says company spokesman Mark Channen. “We’ll also display GrassProtecta – a natural looking reinforced grass protection mesh for surfaces prone to vehicular and pedestrian wear, as well as Protectamesh Rockshield HD (heavy duty), a new mesh for protecting pipeline coatings from rock backfills.”
Hadley Industries Middle East will showcase UltraSteel, a new cold-rolled pre-forming process that hardens base metal and is “greener by design”, according to managing director Merv Richards who adds that products manufactured using the UltraSteel process will use less metal, which “reduces the impact customers business has on the environment”.
Uponor will be unveiling its revolutionary individual radio room control with Dynamic Energy Management (DEM) for perfect temperature control of its underfloor cooling systems.
With its Unipipe multilayer pipe system and Wirsbo PE-Xa pipe system and pre-insulated pipe system Ecoflex, Uponor has established itself as a leading supplier of residential and commercial plumbing and underfloor cooling systems.
nora systems will be displaying its new norament 975 LL, the first loose lay rubber flooring meeting Leed (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and indoor air quality (IAQ) standards, which is also fire toxicological safe allowing it to be installed even over raised access floor panels. A market leader in rubber floorings, nora systems has been a long-term proponent of environment-friendly production and is a recipient of the Blue Angel award – the world’s first and oldest environmental label.
