Glasstec joins forces with Solarpeq.
Glasstec breaks new ground

INNOVATIVE glass solutions by well-from Emirates Float Glass of the UAE will be showcased at this year’s Glasstec exhibition in Germany later this year.
The event will be held from September 28 to October 1, 2010 at the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre in Dusseldorf, Germany.
With 1,300 exhibitors, Glasstec will offer visitors a comprehensive range of products, services and technology across the glass manufacturing spectrum.
Glassetc will for the first time include Solarpeq – The International Trade Fair for Solar Production – which will showcase products and solutions relating to solar production technology including machinery, plant, components and materials for end-products, in addition to crystalline and thin-film photovoltaics.
Solarpeq will attract a diverse group of exhibitors especially companies that offer tools and plant for the production and processing of silicon, ingots and wafers, solar cells or modules or production engineering components or materials.
Together with Solarpeq, Glasstec will result in a one-of-a-kind international trade fair that will present glass in all its forms while offering novel solar applications and building-integrated photovoltaics. Both fairs will be characterised by a green lifestyle concept.
Organised by Messe Dusseldorf in partnership with Photovoltaics International, the events will together feature more than 1,650 exhibitors and are expected to attract more than 5,500 visitors.
