01 June 2010

MORE than 20,000 visitors attended the 13th International Electrical Engineering, Power Generation and Distribution Exhibition (Saudi Elenex 2010) in Saudi Arabia last month, which generated many business deals.

The latest products and technologies from more than 126 local, regional and international exhibitors from over 14 countries were also featured during the four days of business-to-business networking activities.
Held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event was organised under the patronage of Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al Hussein, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Water and Electricity.
Jerry Han, CEO, Interfairs, organiser of the Korean pavilion, said: “This is the second time we’re participating since 2001, and the high market potential has encouraged us to look forward to participating in future events.”
“The event has met the expectations of the majority of Chinese companies, and so we intend to expand our pavilion next year,” said David Wang, general manager, Massbetter, organisers of the Chinese pavilion.
Saudi Elenex, which presented a complete range of electricity generation and distribution solutions, took place concurrently with Saudi Luminex, Saudi Aircon 2010 and Saudi Water Technology 2010.
