Baniyas launches scenic Garden Homes project

01 April 2011

BANIYAS Investment and Development Company (BIDC), the investment arm of the Baniyas Sports Club, has launched the scenic Garden Homes within Phase Two of its iconic Bawabat Al Sharq project in Abu Dhabi’s Bani Yas City.

The 34 new homes, which represent a blend of tradition and modernism, will offer their residents all the amenities of a villa within an exquisite apartment, says the developer.

Situated on the ground floor of the Phase Two apartment buildings, the new 34 Garden Homes include amenities such as spacious and private terraces and gardens. These one-, two- and three-bedroom units, which range between 70 and 224 sq m, offer residents open views of water features and landscapes, also providing easy and convenient access through their separate terrace entrances and underground parking.

BIDC CEO Wael Tawil said: “We are constantly seeking to be innovative when designing new residential units within Bawabat Al Sharq.”

“Our latest Garden Homes offering is an answer to those cost-conscious clients who seek all the benefits of living in a villa without incurring the high monthly running costs,” said Wael El Ashry, commercial vice-president, BIDC.

Bawabat Al Sharq is an ideal mix of modern residential, retail, entertainment and sporting facilities.

The infrastructure works on Phase One of BAS are currently under way.

Baniyas has also awarded a Dh190 million ($51.77 million) contract for the construction of Phase Two of Bawabat Al Sharq to Royal International Construction. The contractor has already mobilised on site and commenced works on the project, which will be handed over to the owners towards the end of this year.
