Slipping it in

FOXI & Graph International will be using Saudi Build 2011 as a platform to launch two of its leading anti-slip floor coverings, the Foxifix and Foxi Super Plus.

Foxifix is a polyester felt used to secure wall-to-wall carpeting – both in tiles and rolls – and soft flooring. It is based on a brand new differentiated coating technique comprising an adhesive layer on the floor side and a clinging layer for the covering side. With a thickness of about 2 mm (depending on the version), Foxifix comes in a large variety of sizes.

“It is easy to lay and remove. It is comfortable to walk on and for wheelchairs to move on. It suits all kinds of floors, whether residential, offices, hotels, exhibition booths and aisles. What’s more, it also contributes to sound-proofing and provides improved access to raised flooring,” says a spokesman for the France-based company.

Foxifix fully complies with Oeko-Tex standards, an international standard for textiles, and is compatible with the Bfl-s1 fire classification certificate beneath polyamide tiles. Above all, it allows the recycling of floor coverings, he says.

The second product, Foxi Super Plus anti-slip carpet foam padding, is a fibre compound manufactured largely from recyclable materials. “Highly adhesive both with wall-to-wall carpeting and hard flooring, it prevents carpets from slipping and rippling and extends their lifetime,” the spokesman says adding that it is a particularly comfortable and efficient anti-slip padding, washable and comes in a variety of formats: pre-cut, bespoke, and in a great many widths.

Made in France, all Foxi & Graph products are fully compatible with Reach standards, the European Community regulation on chemicals and their safe use, and they do not emit any VOCs (volatile organic compounds), he says.

Foxi & Graph International has for many years been supplying its high-quality products to carpet galleries, ministries and local authorities, as well as a great number of interior design and renovation specialists.
