Kobaisi shows off new designs

AL KOBAISI Blocks’ concrete blocks and pavers attracted a lot of interest at gulfBID, leading to serious enquiries, including one from the contractor GPZ.
“We’re keen to present our various product designs and the expertise and dedication that go behind the making of every block and paver,” said divisional manager Anwar Ansari.
Al Kobaisi Blocks, part of the Al Kobaisi Group, showcased insulation blocks made using German Hess-RH 1500 V technology. New designs for eight-inch sandwich blocks, eight-inch slotted insulation blocks and split stone blocks were highlighted.
“We’re the only company in Bahrain using the Hess technology,” said Ansari. “We do the designs and send them to Germany for the making of moulds.”
The company has introduced new designs in pavers called Barocco and Eskoo, which are used in gardens and areas alongside roads. The pavers have enjoyed popularity in private villas.
Al Kobaisi Blocks manufactures 50,000 blocks per day measuring 200 by 200 m with a length of 400 mm and 4,000 sq m per day of pavers. The concrete block-making plant is fully computerised and facilities include well-equipped laboratories.
