JEC Asia confirmed its reputation as the number one international composites show and conferences in Asia-Pacific with a record number of networking operations, prominent personalities, exhibitors, delegates and visitors, at its fifth session in Singapore in June (26 to 28).

The event attracted 7,490 visitors and 345 exhibitors representing the composites sector in Asia-Pacific, which is currently valued at $24.8 billion. The composites show witnessed an increase of seven per cent in its global attendance with some 60 countries represented. Some 800 delegates attended the forums and conferences, with a total of 100 papers and presentations during JEC Asia including up-to-date topics covering the global carbon fibre market, wind energy and construction, among other sectors.

JEC is the largest composites industry organisation in the world with a network of 250,000 professionals. The next JEC meeting will be held in Boston, US, in November (7 to 9).
