The Bahrain Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa in Seef will be the tallest five-star hotel in the country when it opens its doors by March this year.
The BD20-million ($53 million) property with 166 keys spreads across a ground level plus 25 floors and three basement parking levels. It will have seven to eight dining options and an entire floor dedicated for spa and recreation facilities including a fitness centre, ladies salon and a temperature-controlled infinity pool.
It will also feature a banqueting hall that can accommodate 800 people. The unique selling point (USP) of the project will be its room size which is one of the biggest on the island with a minimum of 50 sq m, according to Shantharam Shetty, group general manager of Ramee Group in Bahrain.
Millennium Middle East Properties is the developer of the property.
The Dubai-headquartered Ramee Group operates a chain of hotels in the region and in India. “This is the group’s first five-star hotel. The group also plans to build other five-star hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” says Shetty.
