THE 22nd Saudi Building & Interiors Exhibition (SBIE) will showcase a comprehensive range of construction and building solutions when it opens in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, next month (April 22 to 25).

The event targets suppliers and service providers, and will be attended by international companies, leading Saudi Arabian manufacturers, agents and distributors, and a wide spectrum of professional visitors from across the kingdom and neighbouring Gulf states.

Commenting on the show, Zahoor Siddique, vice-president of Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions, the organiser of the show,  said: “SBIE serves as an important business-to-business networking platform that complements the upbeat market conditions in Saudi Arabia. It provides a dedicated venue for trade visitors to explore the latest and most advanced construction and building solutions, while allowing exhibitors to take advantage of the immense growth potential of the largest construction and stone market in the region.”

Siddique said the building and interiors sectors have reached a high level of sophistication rendering them highly synergistic and virtually inseparable. “So those offering sophisticated products and advanced services can have an unmatched captive market,” he said.

More than 500 exhibitors from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Malaysia, Spain, Turkey and the UAE are expected to take part in the exhibition which, according to Siddique, will attract 25,000 visitors.
This year will see the repeat of the hugely successful concurrent “Construction Machinery Showcase” organised by Corporate Publishing International (CPI). This strategic addition will provide visitors with a one-stop shop for all their construction requirements.

The Construction Machinery Showcase is expected to be one of the largest and broadest heavy construction machinery and plant events in the region. This sector-specific showcase will provide an invaluable platform for Saudi and GCC customers, bringing manufacturers, distributors, contractors and buyers together.

A high-profile symposium will be held in parallel, addressing topical issues and future challenges, featuring renowned international speakers and Saudi officials in the field.
