Show to gather landscaping experts
OUTDOOR landscaping and gardening specialists will be out in force to take advantage of a new event being launched in Dubai this month (March 25 to 27).
The Outdoor Design Build and Supply show, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), has attracted a high profile line-up of exhibitors involved in the creation, development and landscaping of outdoor space, with many choosing the three-day dedicated event as a platform to launch their latest products and services.
Partnered with the Dubai Municipality, the inaugural edition of Outdoor Design Build and Supply comes as new legislation in the UAE and GCC is expected to be enacted this year, which stipulates a minimum of 25 per cent green space or outdoor landscaping across all residential and commercial projects in the region.
Among the leading exhibitors showcasing new products at the show are the locally based Bin Sabt Sports and Leisure and UK-based Dura Composites. Other key exhibitors include Bluestream Environmental Technology, Ithara Group, Fitco Irrigation, Greenworks, The Inout Company, Orient Irrigation, Terraverde, Timberwolf, Toscana Landscaping, Global Light and Power, Grass By The Metre, Landscape ME, Novella Arte Publico, Proscape and Vortex Aquatic Structures International.
New FM conference launched
MEFMA Annual Conference 2013 was launched last month in Dubai, UAE, to serve the Middle East facility management (FM) industry. Organised by the Middle East Facility Management Association (Mefma), the second edition of the conference spotlighted emerging challenges and opportunities in the FM industry.
Show draws 1,100 exhibitors
MORE than 1,100 exhibitors from across 60 countries attended the Middle East Electricity and Solar Middle East held last month in Dubai, UAE.
The event that was held from February 17 to 19 featured 17 government-approved international pavilions, including Austria, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, the UK, and the US. The 2013 edition also marked the co-location of the inaugural edition of Solar Middle East, which also featured the Solar Middle East Conference.
Oman to hold the BIG Show
THE 10th international exhibition of building materials, heavy construction equipment and interior furnishings, The BIG Show, is preparing to stage the most important building and construction show in Oman (March 17 to 20) at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
Apart from the exhibition, The BIG Show will hold the first Oman Builders Forum.
