Following its success at The Big 5 show last year, Flovea of France is returning to the event this year to showcase a wider choice of its prefabricated plumbing products. It will also unveil for the first time in the region a new smart version of a solution that created a stir at the exhibition last year.
“Having clearly noticed a strong interest in our prefabricated solutions amongst contractors and engineers, we’ll be bringing with us this time a larger porfolio of products to showcase at the exhibition,” says a company spokesman.
The Big 5 is the ideal place to meet professionals in the industry and create a strong network, he adds.
The company intends to bring to the Gulf market innovative plumbing solutions that ensure time and cost savings. These solutions would also be attractive for professionals who are interested in building efficient and sustainable construction, the spokesman points out.
Environmental issues have been part of Flovea’s concerns since its inception, he says, and its range of prefabricated solutions not only makes daily work easier but also help conserve large volumes of water by avoiding leakage, which is often invisible until real damage is noticed.
The spokesman adds that Flovea’s research and development (R&D) department has been working on Flowbox Interactive, the connected plumbing range that was showcased at The Big 5 last year.
Flowbox is a hydraulic integrator, which enables easy management of a plumbing network remotely through a dedicated interface. The box enhances the comfort and safety of the residents by offering them full control over their hydraulic network. Real-time reading of their consumption and creation of eco-responsible scenarios provide value for money and enable them to reduce their energy bill.
Flowbox Interactive is a device connected to the hydraulic network of a housing complex. Allowing easy management and real-time monitoring of the network through a dedicated app, it identifies any risk of leakage and water contamination.
“After receiving keen interest in the product, we have worked on developing a new version of the product,” he says.
To bring maximum benefit to both households and professionals, Flovea has created a ‘smart building Flowbox’ dedicated to building managers. The spokesman says the technology can support them daily by providing total control over hydraulic networks – right from their smart phones - with a dedicated mobile app and help them keep an eye on the system to ensure that it is functioning properly.
The user will be able to track water consumption of the property he manages as well as the costs related to the consumption on each floor of the buildings.
“With our prefabricated technical ducts, collecting pipes and new Flowbox, The Big 5 visitors will be the first to see these innovative solutions in the Middle East,” he says.
Flovea was established with the aim of providing innovative solutions in the plumbing industry and offering businesses with the latest scientific and technological advances. Specialised in prefabricated plumbing, the company has invested substantially in designing new solutions by conducting basic research and applied engineering.
Over the years, Flovea has been able to establish itself as the French reference brand in terms of hydro-distribution collectors and has gained a foothold in the construction industry. The company is now planning on expanding to the US and the Middle East.
