INMA of the UAE says it offers an excellent range of forklifts, trucks , hoists, lifts and cranes for transport and material handling needs.
''INMA started catering to material handling needs almost 30 years ago, with the development and construction of Port Rashid at Shindagah in Dubai," says a spokesman for the Dubai-based dealer. ''As one of the pioneer suppliers of forklifts for the project, INMA supplied more than a dozen Boss forklifts initially in 1973 and subsequently added several more Boss forklifts and container handlers to the port.
He continues: ''Several new products have been added since the company was established, and now INMA has an excellent range of plant and equipment to cater to the ever-growing requirements of the construction and manufacturing industry.
''Lift trucks manufactured by Jungheinrich of Germany, access equipment from Haulotte of France, sideloaders from Lancer of the UK, tower cranes from Liebherr and hoists and platforms from Alimak of Sweden are few of the products widely used in the construction and manufacturing industry for which INMA is the sole distributor for the UAE.''
Elaborating on the range, he says: ''The Jungheinrich group, one of the leading manufacturers of warehouse trucks , recently took over Boss of the UK and appointed INMA as its UAE distributor. Jungheinrich, now with five factories in Europe, has a wide range of equipment, from pallet trucks and stackers to counterbalanced trucks, reach trucks and specialised warehouse systems.
''Pinguell Haulotte, said to be the first access equipment manufacturer in Europe, offers a wide range of equipment from scissor lifts and vertical masts to articulated mast, telescopic boom and trailer-mounted models. With more than 100 years of experience in the transport and conveying machine sector, Haulotte is focused on research and development which enables the creation of various new products each year.
''Lancer is the new name for sideloaders formerly produced by Boss. The sideloader is specially designed for easy handling of long loads - such as steel and plastic pipes, aluminium, timber, extruded metal sections and billets - fast, easily and safely. Lancer sideloaders are built by the same people who built the Boss sideloaders, in the same factory, in a new company dedicated to continuing a world-famous reputation.
''Alimak manufactures a range of passenger and material hoists, industrial lifts for permanent installation in addition to the oil and gas industries for offshore lifts and work platforms. In the early '60s Alimak replaced the old-fashioned 'wire rope' hoists with its revolutionary rack-and-pinion drive system, a technology now used in all products manufactured by Alimak. It may be noted that during the inauguration of the Dubai World Trade Centre by the late Sheikh Rashid, an Alimak hoist was in operation at the centre.
''Liebherr is one of the few and biggest family companies in Europe. Its no-compromise advanced technologies for the quality products are the key to success since its inception in 1949. INMA, as the dealer for Liebherr tower cranes in UAE since 1983, has been offering quality and reliable cranes with highly economical working cycles. Their technically-advanced design makes erection easier and faster. INMA offers sale of brand new and used cranes as well as rental. The UAE's first two Liebherr 160 HC-L top cranes with luffing jibs recently made their debut on a project at Sheikh Zayed Road.''
The key to INMA's success, according to the spokesman, has been the devotion to its customers by providing them technical support and after-market-service through its service department. INMA's service centres located in Dubai and Mussafah in Abu Dhabi have factory-trained engineers and technicians who are regularly updated on technical improvements and ready for any emergencies that may arise, he says.
INMA's spare parts stores are adequately stocked with all fast-moving parts and managed with a computerised inventory management system ensuring quick availability of spares to the customer, he adds.
