Stage is set for two Tuyap fairs

Tuyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organisation will hold two expos - the 16th Wood Processing Machines, Hard Tools, Cutting Tools Fair and Intermob 2003 - in Turkey next month.
The fairs will run concurrently from October 17 to 21 AT the Tuyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul (but in separate sections) and will showcase the latest in wood machinery, tools, furniture and other related accessories.
The wood machinery 2003 fair will feature machinery, vehicles and equipment for the forestry industry, transport and storage systems for wood machining and processing, and trade publications.
Intermob 2003 will feature furniture accessories, laminates, wooden parquetry, log, timber, all kinds of chipboards, wooden doors and windows, and an extensive range of accessories made of wood.
The organiser claims that the 2002 fairs were a success going by numbers. ''The fairs, visited by 14,654 visitors from 37 countries, witnessed the participation of 605 leading companies from 28 countries,'' says a company spokesman.
The Tuyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center, said to be Turkey's largest exhibition centre, is designed to offer the best services for both exhibitors and visitors.
The centre offers a wide range of facilities which are operated in accordance with international standards, and covering a total area of 120,000 sq m, of which 52,000 sq m is indoor and 20,000 sq m is outdoor space.
It fulfils a significant requirement in Turkey and in the region, the organiser says.
