Al Qassim expo set to open in December

The A1 Qassim first international building and construction exhibition is scheduled to open at the hall of the A1 Qassim International Exhibition Company next month (December 7-11).
The event - which will be spread over more than 6,000 sq m of indoor space and more than 30,000 sq m of outdoor space - is being organised under the patronage of Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, the Prince of Al Qassim.
Al Qassim Chamber of Commerce and Industry is responsible for the management of the fair, which has the support of the Saudi committee for construction science and all its branches. The Saudi Engineers Organisation, along with governmental and official sectors such as the municipality, Saudi Fund for Development, Saudi Electric Company, Saudi Telecommunication Company, Ministry of Water and Civil Defence are participating in the five-day event.
The exhibition will also include an engineering conference which will be addressed by lecturers, engineers, researchers and company representatives.
The organisers also plan to print and distribute over 30,000 copies of the show catalogue during the event. Visas will be provided to foreign companies who have been invited by local companies for the exhibition as well as to those foreign companies who wish to participate directly.
