Weinig Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of machines and systems for solid wood processing, will display its Unimat 500 as well as the KM 310 separating saw from its subsidiary Raimann at the Dubai Woodshow.
The German group will be represented at this and future events in the UAE by Interconsult.
“This new representative body, which assumed responsibility for our sales since last month (November), specialises in solid wood processing and therefore constitutes the perfect partner for Weinig,” says a company spokesman.
Elaborating on the products on display at the Woodshow, he says: “The Unimat 500 is a state-of-the-art development in the Unimat series and represents the perfect unison of experience and new control technology. The Weinig memory system can be used easily to call up a quick, accurate changeover of settings with its repeat function. Once produced and saved, a profile can be repeated at any time – with maximum precision and minimum setup effort.”
“With eight models offering anything from five to eigh-spindle systems, the Unimat 500 can be used to meet just about any requirement. Small spindle gaps mean low space requirements. The Unimat 500 is also available with PowerCom system and controlled axes and can be fitted to NC-controlled machines.
“Despite being an entry-level model, the KM 310 is an extremely powerful optimising circular saw. With a cut height of up to 120 mm and a high feed speed, it guarantees excellent production quality, even during continuous output.”
The Weinig group’s product range includes planers and moulders, machines for wooden window production, optimising cross-cut saws, finger jointing lines, separating saws and tool grinding machines. In addition to its machines and systems, Weinig has recently started offering scanner technology for optimum wood yield, thanks to a collaboration with one of its subsidiaries, LuxScan.
“Our experts can plan just about every system, from stand-alone machines right through to industrial wood processing, and can support customers during the decision-making process,” says the spokesman.
