Leading paints and coatings manufacturer Jotun Paints, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in the Middle East this year, is planning to continue with its programme of investments and expansion in the region. “Times have really changed for Jotun since we first arrived in the Middle East,” says Erik Aaberg, executive group vice president.

The World Trade Centre Hotel on Shaikh Zayed Road has been brought down by demolition experts to make way for a new development. $3bn financing deal for Taweelah BAbu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (Adwea) has signed a Dh11 billion ($3 billion) 20-year financing deal with a group of local, regional and international banks for Taweelah B – a water and power project.
