THE 2012 editions of gulfBID and gulfInteriors broke records not only in terms of exhibitor participation and visitors but also in terms of business. A total of 6,815 visitors attended the events, a 38 per cent increase on 2010 figures when the shows were last staged.






AL KOBAISI Blocks’ concrete blocks and pavers attracted a lot of interest at gulfBID, leading to serious enquiries, including one from the contractor GPZ. “We’re keen to present our various product designs and the expertise and dedication that go behind the making of every block and paver,” said divisional manager Anwar Ansari.






JOTUN Paints showcased its distinct paint range at gulfInteriors in a bid to expand its customer base and increase brand awareness across target segments in the region. Jotun put up its dynamic line of interior and exterior paints, along with presentations on painting techniques and environment-friendly paint technology.






MAN Truck and Bus Middle East, a leading bus and truck manufacturer launched its heavy-duty TGS WW construction truck at gulfBID, as part of plans to explore the “promising” Bahrain construction sector through its local partner Ahmed Mansoor Al A’ali Co.
