A major Sudanese construction expo is to be held this December in the country's capital Khartoum. The SudanBuild 2003 International Construction Technologies and Building Materials Fair is being organised by Forum Fairs and Promotions, a leading Turkish organiser of international fairs.






Tuyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organisation will hold two expos - the 16th Wood Processing Machines, Hard Tools, Cutting Tools Fair and Intermob 2003 - in Turkey next month.






The construction sector has been one of the major contributors of growth in the Turkish economy. With an average share of 6.5 per cent in terms of GNP (gross national product) and 6.9 per cent in terms of total employment, the industry holds a lot of promise for further growth.






Aurkey's Seyas, an engineering and consultancy firm, which has been offering a wide range of multi-disciplinary services in Turkey, and the countries of North Africa, Middle East, Caucasus, Central Asia and the Eastern Europe, plans to expand its market by enhancing its strengths.






Eleks, the export arm of Turkey's Elginkan Group says it ensures the success of the group overseas by following a pattern of constant restructuring, while at the same time developing and strengthening its sales and marketing activities.






Pilsa Plastic Products says that's its Winsa brand polyvinylchloride (PVC) profiles for windows and doors have earned a reputation for quality both within Turkey and abroad.
