Paschal to showcase new products

01 May 2014

As Paschal-Werk G Maier marks 50 years of success in the formwork industry this July, the German firm’s regional office in Bahrain – Paschal Concrete Forms – is gearing up to introduce its latest products in the region.

According to Amir Delghandi, the director general for Paschal Concrete Forms, the company is launching its Variable column formwork and its Wooden I Beams for slab formwork at gulfBID, the region’s premier building and construction exhibition for the northern Gulf, being held this month (May 6 to 8) at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

“We are introducing our I Beams for slab formwork to meet the increasing demand for post-tensioned slabs in building construction,” said Delghandi.

Paschal set up its regional office in Bahrain in 1998 to enhance its services to the GCC region and this year also marks 10 years of launching operations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE.

Its formwork has been used in some of the striking projects in the region including the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.  Its Logo.3 wall formwork is currently helping speed up the work on Saudi Arabia’s largest sewage treatment plant being built in Madinah.  Work on the 120,000-sq-m site, which began in June 2012, is scheduled for completion in August this year.

Paschal’s strength lies is its modular formwork’s ability to shape concrete into diverse and complex shapes required in challenging projects, ranging from family homes, biogas plants to skyscrapers.
