01 November 2016

Terex Equipment Middle East has boosted its sales and service coverage for Genie products in Qatar by adding Manlift Qatar to its distributor network.

Under the agreement, Manlift Qatar will supply the full range of Genie equipment within the region, including Genie aerial work platforms and telehandlers as well as Terex light towers.

A Dubai-based supplier of aerial work platforms, Manlift Group operates from five depots across the Middle East and Asia and represents major manufacturers from the US and Europe.

Manlift Qatar will act as a full service provider, offering technical support and maintaining a stock of spare parts to help maximise equipment uptime.

Gary Cooke, the regional sales manager, Terex AWP, said: “Having Manlift on board is an exciting step for our business in the Middle East in order to be increasingly responsive and flexible on a local base. By providing comprehensive support both before and after purchase, our strategic partner aims to make the buying process easy for our customers, whether they need a single machine or a whole fleet. They will offer a full after-sales service for warranty and routine maintenance, spare parts and repair for new and existing Genie products and Terex light towers,” he observed.

David King, the group managing director for Manlift, said: “By awarding the dealership to us, Genie has shown strong confidence in Manlift to strengthen the development of the access equipment market in Qatar and further represent Genie in the region.”
