Eagle Hills Diyar said work on its exclusive Marassi Shores Residences project in Bahrain is progressing ahead of schedule with completion expected earlier than July 2019.
Significant headway has been made on the luxury seafront property, which is the second residential complex at Marassi Al Bahrain. The 36,079-sq-m development boasts panoramic sea views and lush green vistas, elegantly designed apartments, and direct access to the project’s 2-km beachfront promenade.
Main construction work on the distinctive U-shaped property kicked off last August and the project is due for completion during the third quarter of 2019, said Eagle Hills Diyar, the development company behind the Marassi Al Bahrain project.
The main works contract was awarded to Dadabhai Construction last July 2017, with expected delivery stipulated within 24 months.
Dr Maher Al Shaer, the managing director of Eagle Hills Diyar, said: “Our construction partners have made significant headway over the past few months, exerting great efforts to ensure that building work on Marassi Shores Residences not only meets but surpasses our construction targets.”
“Marassi Shores is an integral component of the overall Marassi Al Bahrain development and a prominent destination that will offer a host of residences, facilities and amenities. It is also an ambitious project. Additional manpower has been brought on site, with up to 900 workers on the ground during peak hours,” noted Al Shaer.
“Exceeding our expectations on construction timelines is highly commendable and we are confident that our construction partners will continue to push ahead at this pace to deliver a project of international standards ahead of schedule,” he stated.
The 11-storey Marassi Shores Residences features an exclusive collection of 289 beachfront studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well as penthouses. All feature high-quality finishes, floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for ample natural light, and large balconies and terraces offering spectacular views of the sea and surrounding parks.
Marassi Al Bahrain, on the eastern coast of Diyar Al Muharraq, occupies 875,000 sq m of waterfront residential, hospitality, retail and entertainment space. Upon completion, it will be home to 22,000 people and feature 5,600 residences, as well as a total retail space of 250,000 sq m.
