01 April 2008

Nomas, a Bahrain-based company, has made its foray into the real estate sector by unveiling its maiden $800 million real estate project in Bahrain.

Set to come up in the Al Fateh neighbourhood, the sea-facing project will be a 35,000 sq m development featuring mixed-use and residential towers, said a spokesman for the company.
The project will include four 60-storey-plus slim, elliptical towers and is expected to be completed by 2010.
“The Arabic word Nomas means exceptional quality and that is the quality of work and quality of life that we want the people of Bahrain to experience and live via our properties,” says managing director Rashis Al Rumaihi.
“This project will be a true mixed-use facility combining premium residential apartments and townhouses, three floors of retail houses and entertainment options, a five-star hotel and boutique waterfront office facility within four towers,” said Khalid Janahi, business development consultant.
Further details on the project, which will also feature freehold units, are expected to be disclosed at a later stage, according to a spokesman for the project’s developer.
