Nomas, a Bahrain-based company, has made its foray into the real estate sector by unveiling its maiden $800 million real estate project in Bahrain. Set to come up in the Al Fateh neighbourhood, the sea-facing project will be a 35,000 sq m development featuring mixed-use and residential towers, said a spokesman for the company.






Work on Dilmunia, the $1.6 billion health island off the northeast coast of Bahrain, started last month following the award of the contract for the project's reclamation works.

Bahrain-Based Abahsain Fiber-glass ME (AFG) and China’s Chongqing Polycomb International (CPIC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to set up a glassfibre plant in Bahrain. Established in 1970, CPIC was the first manufacturer to produce E-glass fiber by the direct-melt process in China in 1986.
