Three construction-related expos – Working Buildings Middle East, Fit-out Middle East, and Gulf Landscaping – are to be held simultaneously in Abu Dhabi, UAE, next month.
Scheduled to take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on November 17 and 18, the exhibitions are organised by CMPi UAE.
Working Buildings Middle East will feature several exhibitors from Europe and North America showcasing products designed to create energy-efficient buildings and intelligent building systems among others, says CMPi group director Chris Fountain.
The implementation of straightforward, off-the-shelf, residential and commercial building efficiency measures would reduce energy consumption in new buildings and save thousands of dollars, he adds.
Moving on to the fit-out event, Fountain says that a burgeoning GCC real estate sector valued at $1 trillion inclusive of residential, retail, leisure and commercial sectors is driving the demand for fit-outs in the region. “Given the amount of construction under way, there is great demand for fit-outs and this event focuses on the final stages of construction and development,” he says.
Meanwhile, prominent companies from Europe, Asia and Africa have confirmed their presence at Gulf Landscaping.
CMPi UAE sales director Sam Patel says the exhibition will serve as a single-source platform for the landscaping industry professionals.
Spain’s Iberflora and Asfplant (Professional Association of Flowers, Plants and Horticultural Technology of the Valencian Community) will represent the Spanish ornamental plants market.
Leading Italian organic flower farm, Giardini Toscani in Casentino has also confirmed its participation, while South Africa’s Bark Enterprises will showcase how mulching provides effective insulation from extreme temperature variations.
Top-notch Hong Kong landscape architect Adrian Norman of Adrian Norman Design Company has also signed up and will be displaying its professional talents in landscaping design at the show.
Alongside the international exhibitors, UAE’s largest landscape provider Al Ryum Group, which has delivered prestigious projects including the Emirates Palace hotel and the New Abu Dhabi Corniche will also be showcasing its products.
Concurrent to the exhibition, CMPi UAE will also organise a one-day conference on sustainable construction as part of its support for the 2030 initiative – Estidama – designed to make Abu Dhabi the sustainability capital of the Middle East.
CMPi UAE, part of United Business Media, is one of the world’s largest publishers and exhibition organisers.
