The Jacob Fleming Group, which specialises in developing strategic business-to-business conferences for the worldwide markets, will be holding two specialised industry conferences in Dubai next month.
The two major events will be the second annual Real Tech Middle East Conference, which will be held on November 3 and 4 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers; and the Piling and Foundations Forum, which will be conducted from November 17 to 19 at The Monarch.
Furthermore, it will hold the Gulf Building Materials and Technology Congress on January 20 and 21, 2009, also in Dubai.
The Jacob Fleming Group’s vision is to be the premier choice for organisations worldwide seeking strategic knowledge in a rapidly changing environment.
“Jacob Fleming articulates its passionate belief in the power of knowledge through the provision of leading-edge business conferences,” says Martin Valovsky, general manager of Dubai office, Jacob Fleming. “Our events welcome leading industrial experts from the international business arena for a high-class executive meeting held in the most prominent premium hotels around the region.”
He continues: “Our aim is to link business with intelligence through the creation of the most informative, interactive and business-friendly meetings. Our events foster the development of productive long-term relationships and it is our goal to build and maintain strong, lasting networks within the burgeoning worldwide business community.
“Jacob Fleming has, thus, fast established itself as a leading provider of business intelligence solutions, known to provide highly prestigious environments to discuss the questions of the day with the regional and global leaders from the oil and gas, banking and finance, real estate, telecom, construction and many other industries in over 200 large-scale networking events.”
At the Real Tech Middle East Conference, Jacob Fleming partners with Realcomm to bring together real estate experts and the business community of the Middle East to discuss global best practices in technology, automation and innovation for the real estate industry.
“Our theme this year is ‘Investigate – Initiate – Innovate: Leveraging Technology in a Fast-Changing World’. The conference will explore how to leverage technology to solve today’s business challenges and to survive and thrive in this competitive business climate,” explains Valovsky.
The event will feature top officials from such companies and organisations as Nakheel, Dubai Sports City (DSC), Tameer Holding Group, Jumeirah Group, Damac, Emaar Properties, Al Futtaim Group Real Estate and Tatweer, among others.
Close on the heels of the real estate technology conference, the Piling and Foundations Forum will offer both local and international insights into the latest trends in deep foundations with a special focus on piling. Geotechnical interpretation of the soil mechanics and its impact on piles design will be clarified in practical cases studies. Further on, the forum will develop on the numerical prediction of pile settlement, static load testing and lateral loading of piles.
Commenting on the relevance of the forum for the regional piling companies and what they can find at the forum, Valovsky says: “With the Gulf’s growing demand for taller buildings and faster and more cost-effective construction, piling companies are increasingly looking at establishing best practices in building quality foundations for high-rise towers, underground structures and further challenging projects.
“In order to keep up with the fast track of new projects and to meet client expectations, piling companies are also looking for ways to shorten the time period between building the foundations and the main construction package.”
The event will feature renowned industry experts from Thatcher Foundations, Deep Foundations Institute, Al Ghurair Arabian Foundations Engineering, Arup, National Services and Contracting Company (NSCC), the Emirates Green Building Council (EGBC), the University of Stuttgart, and the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering, among others.
Meanwhile, the Gulf Building Materials and Technology Congress will bring together 150 senior executives from construction companies and architecture firms to meet with international suppliers. One of the main attractions of the event will be the educational conference featuring construction industry experts who will discuss various issues concerning building materials.
“The event also provides exclusive networking opportunities for all leading industry players who want to expand their business and their knowledge,” he says. “The event will feature keynote addresses and case studies by industry visionaries, disclosing their insights which deliver the right perspective to be one step ahead of the building construction industry.”
To ensure its exclusivity, the event is strictly limited to upper-level executives and is by invitation only, limited to 150 industry decision-makers.
Carefully orchestrated business and social gatherings will provide unrivalled networking opportunities while one-on-one meetings will be arranged on request between the high-calibre audience of buyers and solution providers, he adds.
