An impressive line-up of speakers will be present at the PowerGen Asia exhibition and conference, which will be held this month (October 21 to 23) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia.
The speakers, from Malaysia and beyond, will discuss some of the most important issues facing the industry, economy and environment.
Dato’ Pian Bin Sukro, the chairman and CEO of Malaysia’s Energy Commission, will be talking about energy regulation in Malaysia, whilst Dr Piyasvasti Amranand, former Minister of Energy for Thailand, will be presenting an update of industry structure and regulations in Thailand.
The opening keynote session will include presentations from Colin Tam, chairman of the IPPF and CEO of AEI Asia, along with James Suciu, president global sales and marketing of GE Energy, US.
Over 75 presentations will take place over the course of the three-day conference.
The exhibition, meanwhile, which gives a valuable insight into the new developments and technologies available in the market, has grown to its largest this year since the event began 16 years ago.
With over 125 exhibiting companies from around the world and more than 5,000 expected visitors from over 50 countries, PowerGen Asia has become the most important annual meeting place for international power and energy executives with interests in the Asean region.
