Glass technology specialist Glaston is to unveil the latest addition to its Tamglass CHF family of flat tempering machines at major events this month in Europe and the US.
The new Tamglass CHF Pro will be displayed at GlassBuild America (October 6 to 8) in Las Vegas and Glasstec 2008, (October 21 to 15) in Düsseldorf, Germany. The model is an improved version of the Tamglass CHF, which was developed for solar and architectural glass tempering.
The CHF Pro features proprietary technology that gives it the capability to heat treat glass with improved distortion characteristics while reducing power consumption per sheet. The technology improves the glass quality and consistency while increasing throughput.
High speed and high production rates coupled with ease of system integration have been the trademarks of the CHF line, says product manager Eric Tyira.
“We listened to our customers and have a product that is faster, more consistent and more reliable. The CHF is a great product and the CHF Pro takes it to the next level. Low energy consumption and flexible loading are just a few of the advantages of the CHF Pro,” she adds.
